Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Speed Train Milan Italy Central Station. The first high-speed rail route in Italy, the Direttissima, opened in 1977, connecting Rome with Florence. The top speed on the line was 250 km/h (160 mph), giving an end-to-end journey time of about 90 minutes with an average speed of 200 km/h (120 mph). This line used a 3 kV DC supply.

The Italian high-speed rail projects suffered from a number of cost overruns and delays. Corruption and unethical behaviour played a key role.[7]
In November 2018, the first high-speed freight rail in the world commenced service in Italy. The ETR 500 Mercitalia Fast train carries freight between Caserta and Bologna in 3 hours and 30...
My wife calls my camera our fourth child because it goes with us everywhere we go.This would explain the wide variety of photography on my site. After living in the Lake Tahoe Basin for more than 20 years an early disability retirement forced me to move down from the harsh winters of the high sierras to find a more tempered climate . This has opened up new photography opportunities for me and I am looking forward to new things and areas of interest to photograph.I hope you enjoy my site and please leave comments. My work has been featured in the United States And Europe .Magazines such as Happinez, Back Country and also used by the Smithsonian Chanel Missing Evidence program. My work has also been commissioned by several artists for...
